  8. announced today it is shipping OPAL v1.2, a utility that lets users
  9. and network administrators monitor disk drive activity.  Each time
  10. a file is accessed, created, copied or deleted, OPAL records the
  11. type of action, date and time to an activity log. An optional
  12. feature of this product, provides the ability to lock access to
  13. floppy disk drives.

  21. customized to suit any level of environments.  From single user
  22. computer stations, shared by multiple users, to wide-area networks,
  23. computer managers and information managers can finally and
  24. precisely determined what has been accessed, copied or deleted as
  25. well as identify the user.  An add-on feature available to all OPAL
  26. users, provides the ability to lock any user or users from copying
  27. information off the hard drive or network drive to floppy disks.

  29. OPAL v1.2 is a TSR which requires 4K of memory, runs with DOS (3.0
  30. or higher), Windows, Netware, Lantastic or other NetBios compatible
  31. LANs and monitors local as well as network drives.

  34. introductory price of $49.95 for a single user version. The network
  35. version is available and the price depends on the number of users
  36. on your network.
